Debt is still relatively cheap, the economy is still growing, and private equity groups are still actively looking for quality opportunities. If you anticipate a sale in the next 2-3 years, the remainder of 2016 and the first half of 2017 may be the best time to sell that we have had — or will have — for a few years. So, the time to move is probably now. If your time horizon is 5 years or more, it’s wise to focus on building and improving your business and ride it out.
